Hello. Welcome to my blog. I will mostly be sharing other peoples thoughts that have inspired me. I’m not sure who if anyone will read this. Maybe my wife or friends or family. It’s more a place for me to reflect on the positive information I come across. It’s meant to be an outlet for that which is bouncing around in my brain and to ask questions.
I am hesitant to allow comments on my blog, mainly because I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that his kingdom is manifest both now and to come. This makes me by defintion a “Christian.” I’ve noticed lately that many things Christian’s post online are met by other Christian’s criticism, enraging a heated debate about whether or not someone really knows God. I hope not to engage in any of that here. I do not feel qualified to have such a conversation with someone.
I myself am guilty of a crippling cynicism that I hope to crucify for the sake of understanding people, especially those who think differently than me. So if you find that I make a statement that is not in love or judgmental please feel free to call me on it. I to am guilty of the “attitude of the pharisees”, by which I search people’s thoughts looking for a reason to accuse them (I have actually gone on to amazon and looked for 1 star reviews of books a like just to get myself worked up).

After all, the goal of theology should be transformation and the goal of orthodoxy should be love.
